Supporting SENCOs
In most cases a parent or caregiver will approach the school when they feel their child is struggling with their learning or has increased anxiety about their learning.
At present schools rely on external experts to identify and diagnose a specific learning difficulty as dyslexia.
One of our aims is to support schools with information and resources so they can in turn support their school parents and caregivers.
To do this we provide an Information pack. This pack includes the following;
- DSS brochure describing our services for parents
- Contact details
- Southland interventions list
- Southland assessment options
- Profiles of our consultants
We can also run a parent information evening at your school.
If you would this information pack or more of our brochures and cards to hand out to your parents please contact us.
